Geothermal energy - Plukmade

For years, the Amer heat network has been providing many Brabant households, greenhouses and companies with residual heat from the Amer plant in Geertruidenberg. But that is about to change. And of course, the owner and manager of the Amer heat network wants to make the network more sustainable. And geothermal energy plays a major role in this.

For years, the Amer heat network has been providing many Brabant households, greenhouses and companies with residual heat from the Amer plant in Geertruidenberg. But that is about to change. EnNatuurlijk, owner and manager of the Amer heat network, wants to make the grid more sustainable, and geothermal energy plays a major role in that. We are currently investigating the possibilities of geothermal energy in Made, for the Plukmadesepolder horticultural area, Tilburg and Breda. The opportunities in this area are great, but it also has many challenges, partly because less is known about the subsoil. It is expected that an investment decision can be made in early 2023.
