There is an extensive Eneco heat network in the Ypenburg district of The Hague. The plan is to build a geothermal source with heat pumps to provide heat to these homes. In this way, the geothermal source is used optimally and all parties involved can benefit from the economic benefit that this provides. Gaia Energy is working closely with Eneco, the residents' association and the municipality of The Hague to make this project a success. In addition to being an operator, Gaia Energy is also one of the shareholders in this project.

In addition to the Ypenburg project, Gaia Energy is also researching and/or developing geothermal projects in other regions in The Hague, such as Leyweg, Noukoop, De Constant Rebecqueplein, Binckhorst, Mariahoeve and Rijswijk, among others.
