At Gaia Energy, we are working on the energy of the future: geothermal energy. Who we are

Professionals & expertise

Gaia Energy was founded by Jos Huizing and Nico Kuipers, who have been working together in the energy sector for over thirty years. Since 2016, they have focused entirely on geothermal energy, believing that geothermal energy is the clean, reliable heat source of the future.

Today, we work with a multidisciplinary team of geologists, drilling specialists, engineers and project leaders on geothermal projects throughout the Netherlands. We combine technical depth with sober, safe execution.
